Julie hails from the Sunshine State of Florida and is currently a student at Gallaudet University in Washington, D.C. seeking a B.A. degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Psychology. One of her ambitions is to contribute her time with the deaf community where it is needed the most and to improve the fundamentals in education for deaf children. Julie has a strong passion for Marine Biology and spends her time scuba diving, exploring nature, and meeting extraordinary people. Wishing to travel the world, Julie has visited 8 different countries thus far and Kenya is next on her list! In Kenya, her goal is to bequeath the ‘I Can’ philosophy and to show people that education is one of the keys to success! |
