Hailing from Riverdale, Georgia, James attends the Rochester Institute of Technology as a rising fourth-year Accounting major. He is involved in the community as the Director of Finance for the Deaf International Student Association (DISA) 2009-2010 and the Director of Programming for the NTID Student Congress 2010-2011. Based on his experiences during a four-week summer camp in 2006, as a camper amongst 61 campers at National Associate of the Deaf (NAD) Youth Leadership Camp (YLC), he chose to become more involved in the community. Upon graduation from Model Secondary School for the Deaf (MSSD), he enrolled at NTID in 2007 to pursue an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Business Studies. In the Spring, he transferred to the College of Business at RIT to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, a degree he hopes to complete by May 2011. As a delegate, he is thrilled to be part of this program. He looks forward to working with all of you. |
