Guatemala 2010
The GRO spring break programs represent the continued efforts of GRO to diversify our programs by preseneting them at different times of the year. Entering its second year, the Guatemala program carries an emphasis on peer-to-peer collaboration. Guatemalan delegates will meet and work closely with the U.S. delegates on various pressing issues such as employment and education. The challenge that was faced last year was: how do we resolve these issues to the benefit of the entire Deaf Community in Guatemala? Many ideas were brainstormed and post-delegation projects were born to enable future programs in Guatemala to continue with these projects and create a path to success.
